Editing: Basic Photoshop levels to enhance

It was an early November morning, and I made a detour to the river that runs through town. The swirling mist was ethereal and the rising sun magical. My phone was all I had and I shot directly into the sun, unsure of how the ensuing photos would look. The scene was breathtaking, and the tree on the bank framed the sun beautifully as it dipped its fingers into the water.

  1. I love how the skeletal branches fill the left side of the photo. This scene is so serene … and yet there is a hint of spookiness about it too!
